Tudor-Eliade Ciuleanu

Professor of Medical Oncology at Iuliu Haţieganu University of Medicine and Pharmacy and Chief Of Medical Oncology Department at Ion Chiricuta Institute of Oncology, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.

Prof. Ciuleanu was President of the Romanian Society of Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology, 2002-2003 and 2013-2014. Also, he is active member of many prestigious national and international scientific societies: Romanian Society of Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology, RSRMO, Romanian Society Against Cancer, Romanian National Society of Medical Oncology, ASCO, ESMO, CECOG, BUON, IASLC. Also, Prof. Ciuleanu was active member of National Drug Agency, Oncology Commission of the National Health Insurance Agency, National Commission of Oncology of the Romanian Ministry of Public Health and President of the medical oncology sub-commission (2007-2014, 2016).

He is member of Editorial Boards (Journal of Radiotherapy and Medical Oncology, Journal of BUON, Archive of Oncology), and Journal Editor (Romanian edition of Lancet Oncology, and the Romanian edition of Journal of Clinical Oncology). He is author of 86 in extenso ISI publications (in English), 3 books in Romanian (1 monography on Lung Cancer as first author, 2 books on Chemotherapy, Hormonotherapy and Biological Therapy in solid tumors), 20 chapters in co-authorship and 148 abstract publications in international conferences. He received 16 awards by UEFISCDI Romania (2014-2016) for published articles.

Prof. Ciuleanu has a vast experience in clinical trials, being principal investigator in 90 international and multicentric national GCP conducted trials in solid tumors and lymphomas.

Dr. Adelina Lorena Dan

graduated the Faculty of Medicine at the University of Medicine and Pharmacy Iuliu Hatieganu, in 2014 and at the present time is training as resident in medical oncology (in its 4th year) at the Institute of Oncology Prof. Dr. Ion Chiricuta, Cluj-Napoca. Member of ESMO since 2016, she is involved as an investigator in several clinical multicentric trials in solid tumors.

She has a special interest in immunooncology and lung cancer and sustained oral presentations on these topics at the CECOG meeting on Lung Cancer (Brdo 2018), as well as lectures on toxicity of immunotherapy at courses organized in Cluj by the Institute of Oncology and UMF Iuliu Hatieganu. She received a prize on a fundamental GI research (Cluj 2013) and published in Clujul Medical journal. She attended several courses, perceptorship and symposia organized by ESMO in 2017 (Singapore, London, Lausanne, Zurich) as well as National Congresses on oncology and courses organized by the UMF Cluj-Napoca (2015-2018). She speaks fluently English, French, and Romanian.
